DZ Deathrays – Dollar Chills

Our very own Al from Al & Al chose DZ Deathrays as a highlight of SXSW as you can hear on our review show. He was too pissed to remember their name, but that’s beside the point. Any way, here they are in session for TopmanCtrl and it’s good rocking fun.

It’s that time of year again, thee official record Store day and with vinyl sales on the up, and records stores with bars what better way to spend the day then finding that elusive vinyl copy of Two Princess by Spin Doctors. Record store day even helps you out by finding the closest record store to your home . I will be going to a party here but I’m not arriving until I scour the record shops for this gem! Desert Fest 2012

Modern Metal owes huge debt to the desert scene. Without it there’s no Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Nebula or of course Queens of the Stone Age. And now thanks to the boys at Desert Fest, Camden got to experience it’s very own Desert inspired Stoner Rock festival and wisely got it to coincide with Jesus getting us some days off to deal with our hangovers.
