Justice – On ‘N’ On

If Jack (below) was a little too raw and stripped back, the video too emotive and simple for you then the new one from Justice is the perfect remedy.

If you’re perfect remedy for a Tuesday afternoon is in fact a  70s Psychedelic trip set in space directed by Alexandre Courtes. Mine is.

You can catch them on The NME Award’s 2012 tour in February:

Thu 9th Feb  O2 Academy Bristol

Fri 10th Feb  O2 Academy Brixton

Sat 11th Feb  O2 Academy Birmingham

Sun 12th Feb  O2 Academy Glasgow

Mon 13th Feb  Manchester Academy

Death Grips – Horror Hip Hop

This is not for the faint-hearted. If 2011 was the over-hyped year of Tyler the Creator and his crew then 2012 belongs to Sacramento’s Death Grips. Packing more punch, more versatility and more tunes in their doom laden flow, this vid for Guillotine is genuinely un-nerving. Also worth checking is the Janes Addiction sampling Beware that features a searingly insane intro from Charles Manson. One to watch this year

Radiohead Give up the Ghost live

So clearly my band of the day is Radiohead (see post below), in fact it’s technically Wednesday now so I don’t even have that excuse. It’s fine though, this is really rather excellent live version of Give up the ghost and is introduced by the newly bandless Michael Stipe and funny American man that always presents awards shows Jimmy Fallon. It’s also good to see a live version of something not shot on a mobile phone.
