The Karate Chop, June 2013

The Karate Chop’s been away, not quite as long as Mazzy Star or Aphex Twin but yes for a while. The show has returned like Bilbo from a musical quest, slightly hairier of foot and with a sack bristling with great music from the likes of Moderat, Smith Westerns, Purity Ring and [ probably ] a never before heard track from Led Zeppelin. Fill your pipe with some Longbottom Leaf, sit back and enjoy.

Die Antwoord is Aphex Twin…

You heard it here first, I have no proof to justify this statement… listen to this new track from Die Antwoord and see what you think though; having been an Aphex obsessive for 20 odd years I have my suspicions that Mr RD James is the mastermind behind the music.

This video is NOT for minors; by the way.

The Karate Chop June 2011
